The customer was looking for a comprehensive upgrade for their 5th wheel for full timing including solar, lithium batteries and an inverter charger that would operate seamlessly when using shore power or generator.

2020 Grand Design 320G 5th wheel
This customer wanted a Battle Born bundle installed that included a 300Ah battery, MultiPlus 3000 and various other items.
2020 Winnebago Voyage 5th wheel trailer
This customer will be full timing and wanted ability to occasionally run more than one large load from the inverter, so we discussed and agreed a twin MultiPlus 3000 inverter charger arrangement in parallel together with a 24V battery. A Victron solar charge controller was fitted together with 1600W or Renogy Solar. Equipment was installed in the basement with plenty of room to add more batteries later as needed. The customer came back for an additional 200Ah battery later.
Riverstone Legacy 39RKFB 5th wheel
A large 24V lithium battery system with dual 3000VA inverters was requested for this customer’s new 5th wheel so that he could live off-grid full time. The customer wanted no constraints on power usage so 2 x 24V MultiPlus 3000 inverter chargers were installed with the MultiPlus units in parallel. 3 x 200Ah VE SmartLithium 24V batteries were installed and the system integrated with Lynx DC bus bars. An Orion-Tr charged a 12V battery which was used for generator cranking. 3 soft starts were installed, and the system capped off with 2kW of rooftop solar and 400W of portable solar which gave the customer almost complete independence from generator use in the summer and limited use of the generator in winter months for low sun days.
2021 Grand Design Solitude Fifth Wheel Model 310GK-R
4 x 100Ah Battle Born batteries with a VE MultiPlus II 3k 2 x 120V inverter charger suitable for the 50A shore power connection. A GX Touch and Cerbo GX were installed for monitoring and control. The customer wanted maximum remaining storage, so we tucked the batteries and MultiPlus behind the basement rear wall.
