Below are details and pictures of some of our recent installations

Winnebego Era 170A – Mercedes Van

These RV’s have 2 lead acid batteries mounted one each side on the underside at the rear. We modified the factory battery trays and fitted 4 x 100Ah Battle Born heated lithium batteries for a substantial battery capacity upgrade. A VE MultiPlus II 3000 inverter charger was installed so that the whole RV can be powered via the batteries. A soft starter was fitted to the A/C and a single 100W solar panel was added to the already fully loaded roof. The solar charger was upgraded to a VE SmartSolar 100/50 charger. The alternator charge system was updated so that it was suitable for lithium batteries with an Orion-Tr 30A DC-DC charger and a smaller Orion-Tr 18A DC-DC to charge the chassis battery. The system was completed with a GX Touch screen and Cerbo GX.

RoadTrek Mercedes Van 24V Battery

This Roadtrek had a 24V battery split between the front and rear of the van. 2 x 6V AGM’s at the front in the engine bay and 6 x 6V AGM’s under the rear seat. The 2 sets making up a split 24V battery. Charging is by an auxiliary alternator, solar and a 24V inverter charger. The AGM’s were changed for 6 x 100Ah heated Battle Born lithium batteries in the rear arranged into a 300Ah 24V battery for 120V loads and 2 x 100Ah heated Battle Born lithium batteries (200Ah) in the front for the 12V loads. The rear 24V battery is charged as before via the auxiliary alternator and inverter charger and the battery in the front via an Orion-Tr 24V-12V DC-DC charger that will charge the 12V battery when the rear battery is being charged. One more solar panel was added to the solar array on the roof.

2016 Tiffin Allegro Open Road Class A

A 600Ah heated Battle Born lithium battery was fitted in one of the rear compartments. A MultiPlus II 3000 120 x 2 inverter charger was installed in the bay opposite. A 1200W solar system was installed. 2 x Orion-Tr 30A DC-DC chargers were installed to take care of alternator charging. A GX Touch screen and Cerbo GX were installed for monitoring and control.
